Tomohiro Mitome became a member of Kodo in 1990 and has since traveled with the group worldwide. He is known for his performance in "Yataibayashi" as well as for his "Miyake" solos, and in 1997 his repertoire grew to include the honored position of O-daiko soloist. Recently he has also been active in instruction of Kodo apprentices.
