Member Notice | Masami Miyazaki Returns to Kodo Taiko Performing Arts Ensemble

After stepping down from the Kodo stage in 2013, Masami Miyazaki joined the Kodo Cultural Foundation team in April 2014 as a workshop instructor. Based at Sado Island Taiko Centre (Tatakokan), her work centered on leading taiko workshops and facilitating new programs such as “Exadon,” a health promotion and nursing care prevention initiative, and corporate workshops to foster team building and invigorate groups and organizations.
In April 2019, Miyazaki returned to Kodo Taiko Performing Arts Ensemble, where she will continue to focus her efforts on initiatives that harness the power of taiko to impact communities.
Along with this work, she will broaden her performance activities, too. We thank you in advance for your continued support!
