On the night of June 18, there was a large earthquake centered in Kaetsu, Niigata.
All Kodo members, staff, and apprentices are safe and well, and Kodo Village was not damaged.
A tsunami warning was issued and aftershocks may occur, so we will take extra care in the days ahead.
