Kodo is honored to be announced as the recipient of the 2023 Commissioner for Cultural Affairs Award. This award recognizes the great efforts that Kodo Taiko Performing Arts Ensemble has made through its many years of touring internationally to share Japanese culture, in particular taiko, with people all over the world.

This award will greatly encourage our group as we continue our mission to connect people around the globe through the resonant sound of our taiko, reminding people everywhere of our common bonds under the banner, “One Earth.”
