Dec. 8 Update

We regret to announce that Yoko Fujimoto had a fall and injured herself on Dec. 4 while she was at home.
On being seen at the local hospital, she was informed that it would take four weeks for her to completely recover from her injuries. She is currently staying in hospital and receiving treatment.

Due to this accident, Yoko will no longer be able to appear at the following upcoming events:

• Dec. 11 (Sat), 12 (Sun), 2021 Kodo Select Ensemble Appearance at Ishikawa Traditional Performing Arts Premium Theater (Kanazawa, Ishikawa)
• Dec. 19 (Sun), 2021 Kodo 40th Anniversary Special Event “Toki no Yui Ne” (Sado Island, Niigata)

This sudden news will come as a shock to our supporters, as it did to all of us. We kindly ask that you keep Yoko in your thoughts as she recovers.
