[Concert Cancellation Notice] Kodo “Legacy” Milan Performances on Mar. 3 & 4 canceled due to theater closures aimed at preventing the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19)

Mar. 2, 2020

Kodo is currently on tour in Europe. Since mid-February, there has been news of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading in the northern regions of Italy, centered around Lombardy, including its capital, Milan, Veneto, and Emilia-Romagna. The Italian government has already implemented measures to prevent the spread of infection such as prohibiting entering and leaving contagion areas.

Under these circumstances, based on the prime minister’s decree (D.P.C.M. of 29/02/2020), the organizers have had to cancel the “Kodo One Earth Tour 2020: Legacy” performances planned for March 3 and 4 in Milan, Italy. Information about alternative performance dates and tickets is scheduled to be announced on the theater’s website (http://dalverme.org/event.php?id=2064) on March 2 in the afternoon (local time).

We regret the late notice about these cancellations and we are sorry to deliver this news to everyone who was looking forward to attending our performances in Milan. We kindly ask for your understanding about this situation and we hope things improve in this region very soon.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support of our activities.
