New NHK channels BS4K and BS8K will begin broadcasting on December 1, 2018. From Nov. 30 through Dec. 4, NHK is going to host a special PR event, “4K/8K Super Hi-Vision Park,” to get people excited about the captivating features of this new technology.  On Dec. 1, there will be a special screening of “Hatsune Miku x Kodo Special Live Performance 2018” in 4K resolution in Shibuya. It’s a free-admission ticketed event, so apply for a ticket by Nov. 18 if you want to attend.
