After suspending its annual intake in 2025, Kodo Apprentice Centre has reopened applications for its Kodo member training course. Application details for the 2027 (Cohort 45) intake are now available.

Interviews will take place over two days (with an overnight stay) on Sado Island from Oct. 31 to Nov. 1, 2026.

This year, we are also accepting applicants who wish to contribute to society through taiko without becoming a member of the Kodo ensemble after their studies.
