Dec. 9 (Sun), 2018 Kodo Select Ensemble Appearance at “Fukugonji Akiba Grand Festival” (Komaki, Aichi)
Every year for over five centuries, on the second Sunday of December, a fire-walking ritual event is held at Fukugonji Temple in Komaki, Aichi. The ritual removes any traces of injury or misfortune from the past year and acts as a prayer for health in the coming year. A select Kodo ensemble will perform for the temple visitors at this exciting, traditional event. We hope you’ll come along.
