Make this summer a memorable one with Kodo on Sado Island!

Kodo has been touring the globe with taiko for 42 years to date from its island home, Sado, in the Sea of Japan. This summer, the ensemble is holding a new series—Kodo Summer Concerts—to let more people add a rousing Kodo concert to their summer travels on Sado Island. Join the ensemble at Shukunegi Community Hall, a cozy retro playhouse nestled within a picturesque historical village.

Set in an idyllic setting, enhanced by sunshine and chirping cicadas, this is a wonderful way to enjoy a performance by Kodo close up. There will be a chance to experience playing taiko firsthand, too. See you there!
