Grandmaster Seiichi Tanaka founded San Francisco Taiko Dojo in 1968, as the first taiko group in North America. Based on the philosophy of unity of mind, body and spirit, San Francisco Taiko Dojo will celebrate its 50th anniversary through their annual International Taiko Festival.  Kodo Junior Member Taiyo Onoda, a former member of San Francisco Taiko Dojo, will make a special guest appearance at the festival concerts.
