Today Yuichiro Funabashi and Masayuki Sakamoto made a live appearance on Radio Nippon’s weekday morning program “Mine Ryuta no Minesta” during the “Talk with Mr. Mine” corner. Thank you very much to everyone who tuned in! We hope you’ll come to hear them perform live at a theater sometime soon, too!

[Live Radio Appearance] May 27 (Wed) on Radio Nippon “Mine Ryuta no Minesta”
On May 27 (Wed), Kodo’s Yuichiro Funabashi and Masayuki Sakamoto will make a live appearance on Radio Nippon’s weekday morning program “Mine Ryuta no Minesta” during the “Talk with Mr. Mine” corner, from around 10:00 am for approx. 20 mins.
You can listen to “Mine Ryuta no Minesta” for free in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Ibaraki, Tochigi, and Gunma.

Motofumi Yamaguchi’s Appearance on FM Niigata’s “FIGUEROA”
On March 27, Kodo will appear at a special event at Ryugon Hotel in Minami-uonuma, Niigata. Motofumi Yamaguchi went to mainland Niigata to appear on FM Niigata to help promote the event, which is called “Kodo x Hakkaisan x Ryugon.”
He was joined on air by Mr. Utsugi from Ryogon Hotel, Mr. Sato from Hakkaisan Brewery and shamisen player, Fumiyoshi. It will be the 6th annual event, so they all know each other well and the recording took place in a very relaxed manner.
We hope you will come along for this special event at Ryogon Hotel on March 27.

Radio Appearances in Hakata & Osaka
Kodo members appeared on these radio programmes recently: “Hawks Hana no Oendan” on RKB Radio in Hakata on Oct. 22 and “Wakako Takeda’s Pitatto” on ABC Radio in Osaka on Oct. 23.
Masayuki Sakamoto, Mariko Omi, Shogo Komatsuzaki & Kosuke Urushikubo appeared on “Hawks Hana no Oendan” on RKB Radio. They all enjoyed talking with the hosts about our brand new production, “Eternity.”
Masayuki Sakamoto, Yosuke Kusa and Jun Jidai appeared on “Wakako Takeda’s Pitatto” on ABC Radio and gave a live performance. It featured a collaboration with the radio show hosts. They all had so much fun together that the producers let it run over time!
