“From Munich, Germany” by Jun Akimoto

The “Kodo One Earth Tour: Legend” team are in Germany now.

This is a picture of Philharmonie im Gasteig in Munich with a full house. On both March 3rd and 4th, we welcomed nearly sold-out audiences. Thank you to everyone who came to our performances.

Here is a picture of our “famous packing” style after the Munich performances. The neighbors complain to the theater if they make any sound at night, and Kodo is the only group (thanks to our good track record) who ever gets permission to pack our truck outside. We were very careful to whisper and to tread quietly…, and we accomplished this mission once again!

Andreas, the managing director of Munchenmusik, our promoter in Germany, has a son who has been pals with Yosuke since a very young age. So Yosuke was pleased to see him all grown up and took a picture with him to celebrate his growth.
