Yume no Utsutsu—Tales from Sado Island
Vocalist Yoko Fujimoto is a founding member of Kodo who has told stories through song for 45 years to date. “Yume no Utsutsu” is her first vocal album collaboration with the Kodo ensemble. Throughout her daily life on Sado Island and her days at Kodo Village, Yoko has enjoyed moving encounters with people and folk tales. Set to music by Kodo and special guests Shunsuke Kimura and Shoko Kikutake, this eclectic collection of songs will share some of those treasured episodes with the world. The entire album was recorded at Kodo Village on Sado Island.
