Multi-Drum Workshop with Yuta Sumiyoshi (Kodo)
Yuta Sumiyoshi will lead an intensive workshop at Los Angeles Taiko Institute at Asano Taiko USA in California this November. He will teach participants to play two or more taiko as a drum kit, or taiko set, starting with the basics and moving through to applying his various techniques. We hope you will sign up for this 5-hour workshop for some fun with lots of drums!

Taiko Heroes 3 - Featuring On Ensemble, Kaoru Watanabe, Yuta Sumiyoshi
Yuta Sumiyoshi will collaborate with US artists On Ensemble and Kaoru Watanabe for the first time this December in "Taiko Heroes 3." Los Angeles-based On Ensemble was formed in 2002 and performs modern taiko music worldwide that blends powerful taiko rhythms with inspiration from jazz, rock, and other genres. Former Kodo member Kaoru Watanabe is a New York-based solo artist who creates and performs innovative music using shinobue, Western flutes, and taiko. We hope you'll join them all for this one-night-only performance in LA.
