This year, the 13th Nihon Taiko Matsuri (Japan Taiko Festival) will take place in the area surrounding the Okage Yokocho arcade in front of the renowned Ise Grand Shrine on Nov. 7 & 8. Kodo appeared at the festival in 2014 and we look forward to returning with a small ensemble for this year's festivities, too. Kodo will also perform a taiko dedication with the members of Shinon Daiko inside the Grand Shrine on Nov. 6. during a pre-festival ceremony.
We hope to see you there!
