This year, Taiko no Sato Kyowakan is holding Chieko's Onna-uchi (Women's Style Taiko) workshops in each of the four seasons. The next one is the "fall" session. Chieko will tailor her instruction to each participant personally, so spring & summer participants and first-timers are both welcome to join. Come and drum with flexibility, strength, and grace like you are dancing.

October 27 (Sun) Taiko no Sato Kyowakan, Meguro Ward, Tokyo

Times:

1. Basics – Introductory Session (150 mins.) 11:00 – 13:30
2. Basics – Step-up Session (180 mins.) 15:00 – 18:00 Full

Fee:

1. Basics – Introductory Session 7,875 yen
2. Basics – Step-up Session 9,450 yen Full
*If you are not a member of Kyowakan, an extra 525 yen for a center registration card is required.

Drumsticks:

Length 40 cm, diameter 2.2 cm. Rental drumsticks available.

Footwear:

Please bring either kimono tabi (split-toe socks, no rubber sole) or socks to wear.

Capacity:

10 people per session * Applicants are only accepted for “Basics – Introductory Session” on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to join, please apply as soon as you can.
