Oirase Town Wadaiko Festival: A Prayer for Post-Disaster Revival

Oirase Town in Aomori is one of the areas that was damaged in the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake of 2011. At this event, local taiko groups will be joined by groups from fellow disaster areas Iwate and Fukushima for exchange through wadaiko. Kodo will also appear at this festival, held as a prayer for post-disaster revival.
