Kodo staff member Kiyoko Oi creates beautiful works of sashiko embroidery that bring out the best in the base fabric textures and patterns. Her work was chosen for the Japanese Sashiko Textiles exhibition in the United Kingdom in 2009. This summer on Sado Island, she will display embroidered furoshiki wrapping cloths and a range of small accessories.
