Motofumi Yamaguchi will hold shinobue (bamboo flute) workshops at Taiko no Sato Kyowakan in Tokyo. There are two courses on offer, one that teaches the basics to beginners and a practical course for people with shinobue experience. If you are interested in playing, please sign up and come along. Flutes will be lent to participants for free.

Basics Course
- Date & Time:
- July 22 (Sun) 11:00 – 13:00
- Suitable for:
- People who can already produce a range of notes on the bamboo flute.
- Contents:
- Breathing technique, posture and stance, producing sound, fingering, practice pieces.
- Instructor:

- 10 people
- Course Fee:
- 7,350 yen
- Type of Flute for Workshop:
- Shinobue roppon-choshi (#6) utamono (song type).
*Flutes will be lent to participants for free. Please ask to borrow one when you apply for the workshop.

- Must be able to play a song on the shinobue already.

- Kaigara-bushi (Folk song), Uyuudai (Inner Mongolian Folk Song)
