Mayumi Kagita and Hiroki Sato are Arte y Solera, a flamenco ensemble popular in both Japan and Spain. While maintaining the traditions of flamenco, they are also prolific creators of original works including their signature Flamenco Sonezakishinju. For this gathering, they will express the classical Japanese masterpiece epic "Dojoji" completely through dance.
Kodo's Shogo Yoshii acts as composer and musical director for the piece, while Motofumi Yamaguchi and former Kodo member Ryutaro Kaneko add the perfect accompaniment of Japanese instruments to flamenco.
