A central figure in Kodo from 1984 to 1992, Leonard Eto wrote several of the group's celebrated songs including "Zoku" and "Irodori." In December, Eto will be directing the special performance "Blendrums" featuring a small ensemble from Kodo. Participating members from Kodo will include veterans Eiichi Saito and Tomohiro Mitome who previously shared the stage with Eto, as well as well as rising stars Mitsuru Ishizuka and Masayuki Saito.
