Composer of Kodo's signature piece 'Monochrome,' modern music master Maki Ishii's (d. 2003) composition 'Monoprism' will be performed for the first time in 15 years by Kodo and the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. This long-awaited performance will be conducted by Tatsuya Shimono, a new star of the classical music world. When these three powers fuse on stage, the result will be nothing less than extraordinary.
