The 'Hakusan Maru,' a large gallant ship from the final years of the Edo Era, is resident at the Folk Museum in Shukunegi, Sado. Kodo will perform on the eve of the festival held in its honor, right in front of the ship lit up in the night. Come back the next day to see the grand vessel outside with its gigantic sail billowing in the summer breeze.
