I saw one of the shrines, called &#8220;Ninomiya.&#8221; It was so powerful.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kodo.or.jp\/blog\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/36c8c9261c98e7c1b7d7d5e14410cdda2-e1400633778898.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1445\" alt=\"Photo: Naomi Iseki\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kodo.or.jp\/blog\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/36c8c9261c98e7c1b7d7d5e14410cdda2-e1400633778898-340x453.jpg\" width=\"238\" height=\"317\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The people of Asakusa really treasure this festival and\u00a0I\u00a0am really happy\u00a0to have experienced it, little by little, as an onlooker for three days.<br \/>\nOne of the people taking care of me said, &#8220;A festival can not be understood just by watching. You have to join in to understand the real\u00a0joy of it.&#8221; These words left an impression on me.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t wait for Sanja Matsuri again next year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, the local festival is now over and soon the Kodo Asakusa performances will begin!\u00a0Please come and experience Kodo in Asakusa.
