Our five performances at Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France have successfully come to an end and many people came to see us.

Yesterday it was our technical director Martin’s birthday! We celebrated his special day with a cake filled with something he loves: strawberries.<\/p>\n

There is a corner at French bookstore and record store FNAC selling the new Kodo documentary DVD.<\/p>\n

They were playing it in store, too!<\/p>\n

\u25bcThis year’s Earth Celebration<\/a> guest artist BLUE TOKYO were in Paris at the same time as us for work with a French TV station. We took this shot on stage at the Chatelet after our performance.<\/p>\n

Then a meeting with EC “Shukusai” concert artistic director Yosuke Oda began. How great is it that we got to have a meeting in Paris with a Japanese EC guest artist?<\/p>\n

EC this year has already started in Paris!<\/p>\n

After the 4th performance in Paris, we shared a toast with the Chatelet staff to their hard work.<\/p>\n

They are all wonderful people.<\/p>\n

Old friends from Belgium came to visit, Michel (former Kodo European tour lighting operator) and Caroline (his wife who makes Kodo’s tour t-shirts in Europe.)<\/p>\n

In a dressing room at the Chatelet, a treasured poster of the 2013 Tamasaburo Bando dance performances hangs on the wall.<\/p>\n
