Join Sado Island Taiko Centre instructor Shin'ichi Sogo a.k.a. Shinchan-Sensei for some taiko fun on location in Niigata City!
Through an array of games, experience the connection created by playing beats and rhythms as one with others. We hope you will come and take part to get a feel for the special bonds created within a taiko ensemble firsthand.

Participant Requirements:
- 10:00–11:00 For adult + child (ages 5 & under) pairs (25 pairs)
- 13:00–14:00 For adult + child (ages 6-11) pairs (25 pairs)
- 15:30–17:00 General workshop (ages 10 & over) (25 people)

- Fee:
- Ages 12 & over 1,500 yen, Ages 6-11 800 yen, Ages 5 & under are free.

- From JR Niigata Station, take the Bandai Exit, and take one of the following buses:
*The "Showa Ohashi/Furumachi-keiyu Minatomachi/ Irifunecho" bus to "Hakusan Koen-mae," then 3-min. walk to the venue.
*The "Chuo-junkan Kawagishi-cho Keiyu Kencho" bus to "Rikujyokyogijo-mae," then 3 min. walk to the venue.
*Bus ride from JR Niigata Stn. takes approx. 20 mins.
