Last year we launched the popular "Kodo Special Performances on Sado Island." This year we are holding another series of these concerts on Sado at Shukunegi Community Hall and we aim to make the program even better!
The concerts are centered around Kodo's distinguished members, who formed the foundations of Kodo today when they came together on Sado Island, connected by the performing arts, and joined Kodo's antecedent group Sado no Kuni Onedekoza decades ago. These special performances are filled with deep gratitude for Sado.
Come and thoroughly enjoy an "escape from your daily life" and the various seasons on Sado Island with Kodo.
Kodo Special Performances on Sado Island: Summer

Shukunegi Community Hall, Ogi Area, Sado Island, Niigata

- Adults 3,500 yen, Children (ages 4-11) 1,500 yen

- Group Discount:
- (For purchases of 10+ tickets at once) Adults 3,000 yen, Children (ages 4-11) 1,000 yen
(For purchases of 30+ tickets at once) Adults 2,800 yen, Children (ages 4-11) 800 yen
*Group discount is also available for tickets spread over various dates.
- Capacity:
- Approx. 150 people per performance.
- Seating Details:
- All free-seating. Babies & toddlers (up to 3 years old) receive free admission with accompanying adults. Ticket sales will end when the venue capacity is reached.

- On sale May 10 (Fri)
- Venue Access:
- Approx. 1.5 hours by car from Ryotsu Port. Approx. 15 mins. by car from Ogi Port. The usual local bus that runs on weekdays from Shukunegi at 16:38 to Ogi Port will also run on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays during the performance period. Venue is a 3-min. walk from the "Shukunegi" bus stop on the Niigata Kotsu Sado Shukunegi Line.
