This monumental production marks Kodo's release into new frontiers through the transcendent sensibilities of artistic director Tamasaburo Bando. Touring throughout Japan since May 2012, the performance was honed even further on its U.S. tour earlier this year, visiting 25 cities from Las Vegas to New York. In June, "Legend" will take to the stage for the last time in Japan.
The finale at Asakusa Public Hall in Tokyo will be commemorated by a live broadcast via the Internet.
