Usually the Kodo School Workshop-Performance tour gives concerts for children at their schools, so this is a rare opportunity for the general public to experience this unique program. It will be a fun introduction to taiko and Kodo for all ages.

Ages 5 & over may attend. Ages 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult.

- Taiko workshop to be held on the same day. 30 ticket-holding parents and children who live, work or study in Bunkyo Ward will be selected by lottery to take part. (Parent and child(ren) must take part together.)

- From JR Urawa Stn., take the bus from the West Exit Terminal 5 platform bound for “Okubo Josuijo" for 30 mins. to either “Jukkokuta" or “Sakura-kuyakusho" (Sakura Ward Office) stops in front of the venue. *Please note that not all buses pass the “Sakura-kuyakusho" stop. Venue parking lot has 394 spaces, free parking for up to 3 hours.

Post-Performance Workshop

- Application Method:
- After purchasing your ticket for the 14:00 performance, please send a return postcard (available from post offices in Japan) with your full name, address, age (school year), taiko background details, and seat number on your ticket to Plaza West.
Application Deadline: September 30. Participants will be selected by lottery if application numbers exceed spaces available.
