TAIKO JAPAN 2011

This is an all-taiko festival held in Tokyo in summer. Yoshikazu Fujimoto will appear at Aoyama Taiko Kenbunroku again this year joined by a Kodo ensemble. This year's theme is “The seeds of tradition and their growth."Come and enjoy performances by three groups whose taiko is rooted in folk performing arts and thrives in the present day.

Wadaiko College will be held August 26-28, with a workshop lineup including taiko, flute, and more.

With events including Taiko Kenbunroku Gaiden (Aug. 25, featuring Tokyo Dagekidan), the 10th Tokyo International Wadaiko Contest, etc, it'll be four days of nothing but taiko fun.
