Yoshie Sunahata stepped down from the Kodo stage at the end of the Kodo December Concerts in 2010, and she is now working as a Kodo staff member. Yoshie kept her maiden name, Sunahata, while still performing, and from now on she will go by her married name, Abe. In other news, performer Hiroko Shimauchi has left Kodo for personal reasons.
