Saburo Sato's Onigiri Project uses onigiri (the Japanese riceball) as a symbol of family and nature through which Japanese people can rediscover age-old customs and a sense of Japanese spirit in everyday life. The Onigiri Daigasho Concert is one of the project's defining events, and this year Kodo's own Yoshikazu Fujimoto will take part in this special performance.
