The 'Kodo December Concert Special : Kodo + New Japan Philharmonic' performance held on December 11 last year wil be broadcast on WOWOW on April 14.
This programme captures Kodo's 'Monoprism' collaboration with the New Japan Philharmonic which had not been performed for 15 years. Additionally, the programme will include composer Isao Tomita's brand new orchestra version of 'Song of the Universe' which was arranged especially to be debuted at this concert. It also features Motofumi Yamaguchi's arrangement of the Tan Dun compositon for the soundtrack of the film 'Hero,' and 'Horanero Nennero' from Yoko Fujimoto's Solo Debut Album 'morisa komorisa.'
In addition to the concert, there are also scenes from rehearsals, the Kodo Apprentice Centre, and beautiful scenery filmed on Sado. This is a unique show you won't want to miss!
