The ripples of the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake have been felt far and wide within Japan. Even now, months after this earthquake and tsunami struck, there are countless volunteers working day and night in the disaster areas towards local rehabilitation and reconstruction.
We at Kodo have been looking for ways we could help the NPOs and NGOs who are working on the front lines of the disaster areas. Towards this end, we will be collecting donations for the RQ Citizens Disaster Relief Network Japan, and its parent organization, Ecotourism Japan (NPO), whose ideas are similar to those of our own organization.
Donation boxes will be set up at concert venues during the Kodo 30th Anniversary One Earth Tour from May through July in Japan. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and your generosity.
Donations can also be sent directly the RQ Citizens Disaster Relief Network Japan. For details and to make online donations, please visit their website.
