Guest Houses (Minshuku)

Lodging in the Ogi area fills up quickly for EC, so be sure to get your reservations in early. You can make reservations with each lodge directly, or call the South Sado Branch of the Sado Tourism Association (in Japanese or English) to help you find an available room. Please note that some lodges offer only shared rooms and/or no meal service during EC.

Camping

Campgrounds are located at Sobama Beach, about a 15-minute bus ride from Ogi. Round-trip buses leave from the EC Information Centre for Sobama Beach every hour. The campgrounds are right on, or very near the beach, so this is a great place to swim, barbeque and enjoy the summertime on Sado. Please check in with the campground office before your pitch your tent.

Special Island Bus Services

There will be a special bus service along each of the following routes after each of the Shiroyama Concerts:

• Ogi > Sobama Beach
• Ogi > Shukunegi, Sawasaki via Kowashimizu
• Ogi > Aikawa and Mushiroba via Hamochi
• Ogi > Ryotsu via Mano (on the Minami-sen Line, Special Direct Bus, reservations required)
• Ogi > Sawada and Aikawa via Mano (Special Direct Bus, reservations required)
