Workshops | Shinobue with Yasukazu Kano

Shinobue with Yasukazu Kano

Based on Sado, Yasukazu Kano plays serene shinobue (bamboo flute) music. Although he has taken to the stage as a member of Kodo several times at EC, this is his first time appearing at the festival as a flute workshop instructor. With an impassioned energy and keen attention to detail, even beginners will be able to manage a simple tune by the end of this session. A special workshop for advanced players is being offered on the 18th. Join Yasukazu to feel the breath of island as you absorb the sound of the shinobue.
