I was very impressed.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I led a taiko\u00a0camp from Feb. 20 (Fri) to 22 (Sun), and on the\u00a0final day, the participants had a recital at\u00a0Uto Taiko Matsuri\u00a0to show everyone what they had learned\u00a0during the camp. Each year, this recital is the first act at\u00a0the festival. First, we sang &#8220;Hobashira Okoshi Ondo&#8221; and then we played a new piece called &#8220;Narukami, which means &#8220;Thunder God.&#8221; The ten\u00a0participants, including three local high school students, had joined me there\u00a0from all over Japan. I was really pleased that they all took part.
