When I was a freshman\u00a0in high school, seven years ago, I saw Kodo perform for the first time and it made me\u00a0decide what I wanted to do in the future. I’m from Akita Prefecture, and while our performance this weekend isn’t\u00a0in my hometown, I am\u00a0still really looking forward\u00a0to finally having the chance to perform with Kodo in my home area.<\/p>\n

In the “Mystery” programme, I was given\u00a0a\u00a0role\u00a0that I feel\u00a0allows me to\u00a0show my own character well. It is important to feel the air and the darkness created\u00a0each and every time\u00a0we perform. I also\u00a0feel the regional differences in the audience’s response to our performances, so I’m really excited to see what kind of reaction the people in Akita will have to “Mystery.”<\/p>\n
