The equipment\u00a0for<span style=\"font-style: italic;\"> Shishi Odori<\/span>\u00a0barely remained, but all the equipment and the base\u00a0for<span style=\"font-style: italic;\"> Nenbutsu Kenbai<\/span> was lost. (Photo from Feb. 2014)<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One of the reasons why\u00a0Kodo wants to help them is that Urahama Shishi Odori is a part of Kanatsuryu Yanagawa Shishi Odori, who have been teaching <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Shishi Odori<\/span> to Kodo\u00a0since 1980. We have the same masters and same dance style, so we are like brothers. Actually, in 2008 some of the\u00a0Urahama Shishi Odori members joined Kanatsuryu Yanagawa Shishi Odori to perform at our festival on Sado Island, &#8220;Earth Celebration.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kodo.or.jp\/blog\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/DSC02290.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2013\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kodo.or.jp\/blog\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/DSC02290-340x255.jpeg\" alt=\"\u5ff5\u4ecf\u5263\u821e\u3082\u7345\u5b50\u8e8d\u3082\u3001\u592a\u9f13\u3084\u8863\u88c5\u3092\u52a3\u60aa\u306a\u74b0\u5883\u304b\u3089\u958b\u653e\u3057\u3066\u3042\u3052\u305f\u3044\u3002\u4f1d\u627f\u9928\u5efa\u8a2d\u304c\u5f85\u305f\u308c\u308b\u3002\" width=\"340\" height=\"255\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\">All the equipment is currently kept in an unsuitable environment.\u00a0The new building needs to\u00a0be built as soon as possible.<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Center\u00a0will be built using\u00a0personal funds and\u00a0grants, and also requires\u00a010,000,000 yen in donations to make up the remainder. From January to May, they collected more than half of this amount, but\u00a0they still need 3,000,000 yen to reach their goal. They are almost there!<\/p>\n<p>The basic amount they are requesting for bank donations is 10,000 yen or more. By donating this amount, your name will be displayed in\u00a0the Center\u00a0when it is completed. Kodo has put\u00a0collection\u00a0boxes in the\u00a0exhibition corner at Asakusa Public Hall during the &#8220;Mystery&#8221; performances, which welcome donations large or small.
