Introducing Kodo's periodicals, past & present.
Kodo prints regular publications in Japanese and English. These periodicals include news about our performances and tours, experiences gained through various encounters and exchanges, updates and lifestyle episodes from our activity base Kodo Village on Sado Island, and an array of topics that share "Kodo today" with our supporters. Below is an introduction our various periodicals.
In December 2009, Kodo launched an electronic newsletter targeted at its foreign audience, sent out as a PDF and available for download on the Kodo website. The format can be printed and shared easily. Delivered by email to subscribers for free.
Eleven issues published per year (A4/ Average size: 8 pages/ Color, interactive PDF/ New Year issue is Jan-Feb combined.)
In 1981, when Kodo was founded, this publication began as a quarterly. From 1984, it became a monthly newsletter, sent to Kodo no Kai (Japanese version of "Friends of Kodo") members in a booklet form. In 2011, the publication celebrated its 30th anniversary and 300th issue.

Archives: Japanese Monthly Newsletter "Kodo"
From 1987, Kodo sent this English quarterly publication to "Friends of Kodo" members and foreign supporters. The final issue (Volume 96) was sent out in the spring of 2011, and now "Kodo eNews" incorporates the role of this publication.
